The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering, World University of Bangladesh organized a seminar on “Nanotechnology and its Applications” at WUB Campus auditorium on 23^rd September (Friday), 2022.

Mr. Amit Halder, Coordinator and Lecturer, Department of EEE hosted the session with welcome speech. He introduced all the guests and speakers to the attendee of the seminar. Dr. Md. Riyad Tanshen, Coordinator and Jr. Associate Professor, Department of EEE received the seminar speaker Dr. Munima Haque with the respected head of the department.

Dr. Munima Haque, Associate Professor, Biotechnology program, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, BRAC University, delivered the key note speech in the seminar. She also presented her recent research paper.

The Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury was present as the Chief Guest. He delivered his speech on the current issues related to 4^th Industrial Revolution and its relation to nanotechnology. He also thanked the keynote speaker and requested to hold more seminars like this.

Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh was also present as the Special Guest. He delivered a short speech with giving thanks to the keynote speaker.

The session was presided over by Prof. Dr. M. Quamruzzaman, Head, Department of EEE, WUB. The guests and students enjoyed the session and learn emerging trends of nanotechnology. All the faculty members including students were present at the seminar.
