The Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh, arranged a webinar titled “Career Opportunities and Higher Education Facilities in Fashion Industry. “On 16^th September (Friday), 2022, 11 am to 12 pm on Facebook Live. Md. Meraj Taj, Fashion Designer, Design & Development, Epyllion Group (Sailor) adorned the program as the Keynote Speaker. The Vice Chancellor- Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, World University of Bangladesh was present as the Chief Guest of the webinar. The Keynote Speaker enlightened the young audiences about the higher education facilities & career prospects in fashion industry. He also talked about the required skills, a fashion aspirant needs to attain. In addition, the speaker did not forget to put a brief emphasize on conflict between the fast fashion and sustainable fashion. He also aligned the 4IR concept with the fashion world.

The audience enjoyed the webinar and participated in the discussion by writing comments. There was a question-answer session where the audiences asked their question using the comment section. The program was chaired by Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh. Senior Lecturer of the Textile Engineering Department, World University of Bangladesh- Ajoy Roy moderated the webinar. At the end of the webinar, the chairman thanked the keynote speaker, honorable Vice Chancellor Sir, Treasurer Madam, and the concerned authority.
