World University of Bangladesh Pharmacy Department, organized a rally on Sunday, 25 September’ 2022 to celebrate World Pharmacist Day 2022. The slogan of this day was: "Pharmacy United in Action for a Healthier World". Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Morsheda Chowdhury, Treasurer, Professor Dr. Mushfiq Mannan Chowdhury, Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Registrar and Deputy Registrar were also present in this program.

The program started at 9.30 am with all the students wearing beautiful t-shirts with this year's slogans. The formal program started with the flying of colorful balloons and freeing pigeons as symbols of peace to start the program with a cheerful rally from the front of the university building. Later Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M. Nurul Islam inaugurated the ceremony by cutting the cake.

Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam gave an important speech to the students of Pharmacy Department in the discussion meeting. He said on the occasion, "Pharmacist in the country can hold the signature of extraordinary talent to revolutionize the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacists will always work for the welfare of the country and nation."

Besides, Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar; Associate Professor Dr. Harun-or Rashid; Senior Deputy Registrar Mr. A. H. Touhid Milton; Head of the Pharmacy Department Zubair Khalid Labu also gave their speech. Prof.  Zubair Khalid Labu presided over the event.

Regional debate competitions, quiz competitions, fascinating flash mob and various cultural presentations were organized to celebrate the day. The program followed by prize distribution and conch. The enthusiastic participation of the students and the faculty members spread a positive vibe around the campus.
