Orientation Program - Fall’ 2023

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a two-day orientation program for newly admitted students for Fall Semester 2023 on 8^th and 9^th September 2023 at its campus in Uttara, Dhaka. In this program nearly 750 students, who have been admitted to graduate and undergraduate programmes in 11 different departments in the current semester, participated in the orientation.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor; and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer; World University of Bangladesh were present as special guests. Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar; Mohammed Shaiful Hannan, Senior Deputy Controller of Examinations; Md Kamrul Hossain, Senior Deputy Registrar; Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Senior Deputy Registrar; Head of Departments and faculties were also present in this program.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury welcomed all the participants and advised them to work hard to develop themselves as responsible citizens to contribute to the socio-economic growth and development of the country.

Other Guests also highlighted the excellence of the university and spoke on various issues of the university like rules and regulations, academic system; extra co-curricular activities etc. They also said that in the contemporary world, there is no option for demand-based modern higher education. They advised them to use their four (04) years of study at WUB to acquire academic excellence as well as leadership, moral values and responsibility towards family.
