The World University Pharmacy Club (WUPC), World University of Bangladesh celebrates the World Pharmacists Day 2023 at the WUB campus on 25^th, September, 2023. World Pharmacists Day’ is celebrated globally on 25^th September every year. This day is celebrated to create awareness about the role of pharmacists in improving health. The commencement of the program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh. Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh was presents the program as Chief Guest; and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Quamruzzaman, Dean, WUB was present as Special Guest in the program.  Besides, Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar; and Senior Deputy Registrar Mr. A. H. Touhid Milton; were also present. The program was presided over by Zubair Khalid Labu, Head, Department of Pharmacy, WUB.

The program was inaugurated by releasing of balloons and flying pigeons and a great rally where the honorable guests were present along with the students of Pharmacy department. The program included segments like debate competition, Flash mob, Poetry recitation and Cultural program, where the students of Department of Pharmacy participated and made the day a memorable one indeed. This Day was celebrated with tremendous joy by all staff as well as the students of the University.
