Following the resounding success of its inaugural season, the World University of Bangladesh is thrilled to announce the commencement of the second edition of the "WUB Intra University Indoor Sports Championship-2024." This spirited sports week, a collaborative effort between the Department of English and the Department of Architecture, promises a week filled with camaraderie, competition, and celebration.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, echoing the sentiment, emphasized the holistic benefits of sports by promoting a healthy mind and body. He underscored the university's commitment to skill development, recognizing its pivotal role in addressing unemployment. Dr. Choudhury celebrated the increasing participation of girls in the championship, noting their remarkable progress and assuring that boys will not be left behind.

The grand opening of the championship was marked by an auspicious announcement from the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Choudhury, who inaugurated the event by participating in a lively game of carrom. The presence of the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Registrar, and heads of various departments added to the festive atmosphere of the occasion.
