06 February 2024: the Department of Pharmacy at the World University of Bangladesh proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar, the esteemed Professor Dr. Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) of the University of Dhaka. The felicitation ceremony took place at 11:00 am.

Dr. Bachar, a distinguished pharmacist and faculty member of the University of Dhaka, has left an indelible mark on the landscape of Pharmacy Education and research. With an illustrious career spanning decade, he has exemplified excellence in both scholarly pursuits and administrative responsibilities.

Before assuming his current role, Dr. Bachar served with distinction as the Chairman of the Dhaka University Pharmacy Department and as the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Throughout his tenure, he demonstrated exemplary leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and academic rigor.

At today's felicitation ceremony, Dr. Mohammad Shawkat Ali, Advisor Professor of the Department of Pharmacy, and Professor Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Head of the Department, led the gathering of esteemed faculty members. Together, they expressed their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Bachar and conveyed their best wishes for his continued success in all his endeavors.
