World University of Bangladesh Law Students Enriched by High Court Visit

Dhaka, Bangladesh: The Department of Law at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) orchestrated a highly educational and insightful visit to the esteemed High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on February 8, 2024. This initiative, aimed at enriching the practical understanding of law students, witnessed the participation of a group of dedicated law students under the supervision of esteemed faculty members.

Led by Dr. Mohiuddin Al-Amin, MahmudulHasanRazib, and TanimHasan Jim, who are not only distinguished law teachers at WUB but also practicing advocates. The visit provided an invaluable opportunity for the students to observe the intricacies of legal proceedings firsthand. The initiative was executed under the visionary guidance and coordination of Professor Dr. Abdul Jalil, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at WUB.

During the visit, the law students had the honor of interacting with eminent legal practitioners including Barrister Syed SayedulHaqueSumon MP, Adv. SanjidaKhanom MP, Adv. Kazi Akhter Hamid, Adv. Nahid Sultana Juthi, Adv. Dr. ZahedulHaqueZahed, Adv. M. M. Rana, and Adv. ShakilaRowshoan, among others. These respected advocates graciously shared their insights and experiences with the students, offering valuable advice and encouragement for their future endeavors in the legal field.

Expressing their appreciation for the proactive approach taken by WUB's Department of Law in facilitating such practical learning experiences, the advocates commended the students for their keen interest in gaining firsthand exposure to the legal profession. They emphasized the significance of courtroom visits in supplementing academic knowledge with real-world insights, underscoring the crucial role that practical experiences play in shaping future legal professionals.
