World University of Bangladesh Eid Reunion 2024

World University of Bangladesh recently organized Eid Reunion 2024 to celebrate the Eid Ul Adha festivities where all the administrative officials of the university and the faculty member of different departments were present. The event took place on 29^th June, 2024 at The Café Rio restaurant, creating a memorable experience for all attendees.

The event featured with a rich array of activities starting with live musical performance by the faculty member and administrative officials, which captivated the audience with a mix of classic hits and contemporary favorites. The vibrant music added festive atmosphere and encouraging staff members to relax and enjoy the event.

The program began with a warm welcome address by Morsheda Chowdhury, Treasurer, WUB who expressed gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the university officials. She also said that 'This reunion is our ways of saying thank you for your unwavering commitment and contributions. Eid is a time of togetherness, and we are delighted to celebrate it with our university family',

Heroic freedom fighter Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor, WUB was present as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, WUB; and Farhana Khanam Ferdousi, Member of WUB BOT, were also present as special guests.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor thanked everyone for attending this reunion.  During this time, he highlighted the sincerity of all concerned in ensuring the quality of education and healthy working environment.

Participants also had the opportunity to socialize and strengthen bonds with colleagues from different departments. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversation and a spirit of unity, making it an evening to remember.
