Industrial Visit at Brannerson Exports

The Department of Textile Engineering & Fashion Design, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) arranged an industrial tour in one of the most technologically advanced garment industries "Brannerson Exports". The program took place on Feb 10, 2025 (Monday). About 50 students of Textile Engineering (TE) and Fashion Design and Apparel Technology (FDAT) took part in this industrial visit.

The managing Director Syed Ansar Ullah and Md. Touhiduzzaman, Asst. Manager, Merchandising & Production in- Charge at Brannerson Export (Alumni members of the Department of Textile, Engineering, World University of Bangladesh) welcomed students in their industry at the very beginning of this tour. Over 30 former students from WUB have worked in this industry.

The department is committed to developing its students as skilled manpower and assuring quality and relevant education by aligning theoretical knowledge with practical experience. On this tour, students learnt practically about the entire garment manufacturing process (Pattern making, Marker making, Fabric cutting, Sewing, Finishing, etc.) and also uses of advanced apparel machinery.
