In the heart of Bangladesh's bustling digital landscape, a new alliance is being forged.
The World University of Bangladesh (WUB), a beacon of academic excellence, and
Kakatuwa Media, a dynamic force in social media storytelling, are proud to announce a landmark partnership.
This isn't just a collaboration; it's a "Digital Launchpad" designed to catapult WUB students into thriving careers
and entrepreneurial ventures in social media marketing.
This initiative was born from a shared vision: to bridge the gap between the classroom and the boardroom, and to equip the next generation with not just degrees, but with real-world, high-demand skills.
The Challenge: A Gap in the Digital Wave
Bangladesh's digital economy is booming. Brands are scrambling to connect with millions online,
but there's a critical shortage of skilled, strategic talent who can navigate the ever-changing algorithms of TikTok,
craft compelling narratives on Instagram,
and drive real business results through Facebook
and Google Ads.
The WUB-Kakatuwa Solution: A "Digital Launchpad" for Tomorrow's Leaders
The "WUB-Kakatuwa Digital Launchpad" is a comprehensive ecosystem of learning, doing, and growing.
We’re building a direct pipeline from education to employment, focusing on three core pillars:
- Learning from the Masters: Certified Workshops & Masterclasses
Imagine learning the secrets of a viral TikTok video from the people who create them.
WUB students will now have exclusive access to certified workshops and masterclasses led by Kakatuwa Media's expert strategists, content creators, and data analysts. They will get their hands dirty with real campaign data, current client challenges, and the latest tools of the trade.
- The Social Media Incubator: Where Ideas Meet Reality
Theory is vital, but practice is paramount. Our new Social Media Incubator will function as an in-house agency within WUB. Here, student teams will be tasked with developing full-scale social media strategies for real brands provided by Kakatuwa Media. They'll brainstorm, create content calendars, design posts, and pitch their campaigns to a panel of industry professionals. The best ideas might just go live for a national audience!
- Mentorship and Career Pathways: Your Network is Your Net Worth
Every great career has great mentors. Through the "Kakatuwa Mentors" program, students will be paired with seasoned professionals for one-on-one guidance. This direct line to the industry will be complemented by a structured paid internship program, offering a direct pathway to launch a career at Kakatuwa Media or its vast network of partner agencies and brands.
A Partnership for National Progress
This collaboration goes beyond the walls of the university. It’s an investment in the future of Bangladesh’s youth and its digital economy.
