with the academic environment, university facilities, rules and regulations,
and student support services of WUB. Through interactive sessions, motivational
talks, and training modules, the program aimed to prepare students for their
academic journey while fostering a sense of community and belonging.

All departmental heads, distinguished faculty members, and senior
administrative officials attended the event and addressed the new students.
In his speech,
Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam shared his extensive
experience in education. Drawing on his international travel experiences, he
highlighted the importance of practical life skills and broadening one’s global
perspective. He said, “I have been
teaching for many years. I still attend classes with affection for my students
and share my experiences—it brings me the greatest joy.” His words
inspired and motivated the attending students.
As part of the
program, a comprehensive training session was conducted for students of all
departments, focusing on academic excellence, leadership skills, time
management, and campus engagement. The session was designed to equip students
with essential knowledge and skills for both academic and professional success.
The Orientation
and Training Program concluded with a cultural segment and an open-floor
discussion, allowing students to share their expectations and interact directly
with faculty and administration.
With this

through quality education, student-centered activities, and an environment that
nurtures creativity and innovation.
