On February 22, 2025 (Saturday), a
team of 30 students and faculty members from the Department of Electrical and
Electronic Engineering (EEE), World University of Bangladesh embarked on an
enriching industrial visit to Reverie Power and Automation Engineering Limited
in Narshigachar, Noakanda, Gozaria, Polash, Narshingdi.
Reverie Power and Automation Engineering
Limited is a renowned company dedicated to providing detailed engineered
solutions for electrical infrastructure. With a team of approximately 200
engineers and 400 workers, the company specializes in the design, supply,
construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage
substations up to 400KV. Additionally, the company manufactures transformers
and switchgear up to 33KV voltage level and offers innovative automation
solutions for industries and substations.
During the visit, students had the
opportunity to witness firsthand the advanced manufacturing and automation
processes implemented by Reverie. The industry experts briefed them about
high-voltage substations, transformer manufacturing, and the importance of
automation in modern power systems. The interactive session with company
engineers provided valuable insights into real-world engineering applications,
bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial practice.
The visit proved to be an excellent
learning experience, exposing students to cutting-edge technology and the
evolving trends in the electrical and power industry.
The faculty members who accompanied

Habib, Lab Assistant.
The faculty members expressed their
gratitude to the company for their hospitality and knowledge-sharing,
reinforcing the importance of such industrial visits in shaping future
engineers. The Department of EEE aims to continue organizing such educational
excursions to foster practical learning and industry collaboration.
