Biography

Imran Hassan has been serving as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) since July 2016. He teaches a broad range of undergraduate mathematics courses, including Engineering Mathematics and Applied Science, Numerical Methods and Computer Programming, Calculus I, II, III, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, and Matrix and Vector Analysis.

His teaching and research interests span Analytical Geometry, Calculus, Fuzzy Logic and Fuzzy Models, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Operations Research, Ordinary Differential Equations, and Special Functions. He is particularly recognized for his ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications, fostering student engagement and deeper understanding.

Imran Hassan has published several research papers in international peer reviewed journals. He is skilled in Research, E-Learning, Educational Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Teaching. He is a member of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Question moderation committee.

He completed his early education at Dinajpur Zila School and Dinajpur Government College before earning his B. Sc. (Honours) in Mathematics (2013) and M. S. in Mathematics (2014) from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka both with First Class distinctions. For his academic excellence, he received the prestigious Nakano Scholarship Award.

His long-term vision is to contribute to the advancement of mathematical research and education, inspiring the next generation of students and scholars through his teaching, publications, and scholarly pursuits.
