Short Biography:

Suman Kar is currently working as a Head of the Department and Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Basic Science, World University of Bangladesh. He has completed his graduation and post-graduation in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka. He has been working as a full-time faculty member of the Basic Science Division, World University of Bangladesh since March 28, 2008. He has successfully completed the professional training program for academic staff organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with financial and technical assistance from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC). He is diligent, co-operative, self-confident and honest, having a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and punctuality toward his work. He has been teaching Mathematics in graduate and undergraduate levels for the students of Business and Engineering. As career objectives, Suman Kar wants to be successful teaching personnel that will permit continued learning and thereby development and services to the community at large, ultimately become a good human being. He was born in Narsingdi district.
