Biography

Mohaiminul Islam is currently serving as a Lecturer of Chemistry in the Division of Basic Science. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry (1st Class) from Khulna University and later obtained his M.Sc. in Industrial and Environmental Chemistry from Jahangirnagar University. (1st Class)

Before joining academia, he gathered professional experience in the chemical industry with reputed organizations such as Standard Group, SGS Bangladesh, and in the pharmaceutical sector with Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He also worked as a Lecturer in Chemistry at Cambrian College, Dhaka, where he taught higher secondary students.

Hailing from Old Dhaka, he secured GPA 5.00 in both SSC from Birshrestha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College and HSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka.

His academic achievements, industry background, and teaching experience have equipped him with a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied chemistry, which he is dedicated to sharing with his students.
