Ibrahim Khalil is a Lecturer in Chemistry at World University of Bangladesh (WUB). Prior to that, he was an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Textile Engineering at Uttara University. Ibrahim Khalil completed his Master's (2023), securing 1st position (with distinction) with a CGPA of 4.00 out of a scale of 4.00 and Bachelor's (2022) securing 1st position with a CGPA of 3.86 out of a scale of 4.00 in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Chittagong, Chattogram—4331, Bangladesh.
Additionally, he holds the position of research assistant at the Laboratory of Applied Chemical Analysis (LACA), ACCE, University of Chittagong, Chattogram - 4331, Bangladesh. His research interests include natural product chemistry, analytical & environmental research, nanomaterials, marine natural products, computational chemistry, and computer-aided drug design. He was an ex-assistant director at the higher education unit, UniV. Moreover, he was a former research intern at the career development unit (Intern Team 2024), UniV. He was awarded the “National Science and Technology” (NST) Fellowship by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of Bangladesh in 2023 and the Chittagong University Merit Scholarship in 2022.
