Jannatul Afrin Nimme is a passionate academic and Lecturer in the Basic Science Division at the World University of Bangladesh since February 9, 2024. She holds both Bachelorβs and Masterβs degrees in History from Jagannath University, where she developed a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in South Asian history, Bangladesh studies, and contemporary social issues.
As a teacher, she is admired for her clarity, patience, and ability to make complex concepts relatable, fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom that encourages critical thinking and open discussion. Beyond teaching, she has shown strong leadership as Vice President of an organization supporting physically challenged individuals for over four years, and has enhanced her skills through leadership and communication training at BYLC and BRAC.Dedicated to research, public speaking, and writing, she aspires to contribute to historical scholarship and connect academic knowledge with present-day social needs. With her commitment, empathy, and effective communication, Jannatul Afrin Nimme serves not only as an educator but also as a mentor and role model for the younger generation.
