Dr. Md. Abdul Alim is a Senior Lecturer in
the Basic Science Division at the World University of Bangladesh. He completed
his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree and later obtained his Master's degree
from the prestigious University of Rajshahi in Bangladesh. Subsequently, he engaged in research for nearly
ten years and earned his MPhil with a thesis titled "A Study
of the Left Political Parties in Bangladesh: Conflict in Theory and Reality
(1971-2006)." Following that, he pursued his Ph. D. at the same
institution, with his dissertation titled "A Study of Pro-China Left
Politics in Bangladesh (1953-1990)."
In addition to his academic
qualifications, he has taught at a non-government college for nearly 16 years.
He has also served as an Assistant Professor (Adjunct Faculty) for almost two
years at both East West University (EWU) and United International University
(UIU) in Dhaka. He has published several books and research articles in various
journals and daily newspapers, both locally and internationally.
