Biography

Tamanna Sharmin Mazumder has been serving as a faculty member at the World University of Bangladesh since January 2023. She holds a Master’s degree (Thesis Group) from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet. She began her academic career with the Bangladesh Cadet College Service, teaching at Joypurhat Girls' Cadet College and Mirzapur Cadet College. She later joined Eminence College—a sister concern of the Daffodil Group—as a faculty member.

Her research interests include microcredit, poverty alleviation, and gendered vulnerabilities to climate change. She is proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and is dedicated to student mentorship and community-based research initiatives.
