World University of Bangladesh and Lead Nation Academy - LNA Jointly Host Seminar on Industry Focused Readiness Skills

The World University of Bangladesh (WUB), in collaboration with the Lead Nation Academy (LNA), successfully organized a high-impact seminar on “Industry Focused Readiness Skills” at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium today. The event aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry demands, equipping students with the skills, mindset, and practical knowledge required to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

The program commenced with an opening speech by Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar of WUB, who welcomed the distinguished guests, resource persons, and participants. In his address, Prof. Imam highlighted the significance of such industry-focused initiatives in enhancing the employability of graduates. He emphasized that the partnership between WUB and LNA reflects a forward-looking approach to education, preparing students to face the challenges of a rapidly evolving professional landscape.

The seminar was graced by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of WUB, as the Chief Guest, who emphasized the importance of aligning academic curricula with evolving industry needs.

Three distinguished industry leaders shared their insights as Resource Persons:

  • Biplob G Rahul, CEO of e-Courier Limited, who discussed innovation, entrepreneurship, and adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Sayeda Umme Salma, CMO of AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals Limited and CEO of BrandGear Limited, who shared strategies for personal branding, leadership, and career growth.
  • Mir Hasib Mahmud, Co-Founder of Lead Nation Academy, who provided practical guidance on building professional readiness, communication skills, and lifelong learning habits.

The seminar drew enthusiastic participation from WUB students, faculty members, and young professionals, featuring interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and real-life case examples.
