Farewell Program Held by the Department of Textile Engineering & Fashion Design at WUB

The Department of Textile Engineering & Fashion Design at World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a heartfelt Farewell Program on 02 August 2025 at the university campus to honour its graduating students. This special event celebrated a key milestone as students prepare to enter their professional careers.

The ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor of WUB, as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar of WUB; Khandaker Mohammad Zaman Hossain, Executive Director, Golden Frog; Osama Bin Mustafa, Senior DGM, Lab & Quality, Utah Knitting & Dyeing Ltd.; and Dr. Ruhul Amin Khan, Advisor, Department of Textile Engineering & Fashion Design, WUB. The event was presided over by Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Head of the Department of Textile Engineering & Fashion Design.

During the program, distinguished guests congratulated the graduates on their hard work, resilience, and accomplishments. They encouraged the students to become responsible, ethical, and impactful professionals in their respective fields. Graduates shared heartfelt reflections, expressing gratitude to faculty members, mentors, and peers for their unwavering support.

The farewell concluded with the distribution of souvenirs, a group photo session capturing moments of joy and nostalgia, and a vibrant cultural segment featuring music, dance and comedy performed by students.
