Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a seminar on “Career Development: Home and Abroad” on 3^rd December 2016  at WUB auditorium. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury graced the event as chief guest and Professor Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University was present as special guest. Dr. Ruhul Amin Khan, Director, Institute of Radiation and Polymer Technology, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission was present as the key-note speaker. Prof. Dr. Engr. Shah Alimuzzaman Belal, advisor of the Department of Textile Engineering, WUB Chaired the session. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Head of the department, Faculty members and students of the Textile department were present in the seminar.

Keynote speaker Dr. Khan provided an in-depth view of different opportunities for higher studies  abroad, career development strategies home & abroad and the aspects of research in various fields. The seminar was very attractive, enthusiastic and actively participated by Faculty members and students.
