The “Best Performance Award” ceremony of  World University of Bangladesh (WUB) was held on January 20, 2017 at the auditorium of WUB. The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of the University while Mr. A K M Shahidul Hoque, BPM, PPM, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh was present as chief guest. Prof. Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer were present  as special guests. Prof. Dr. Musfiq M Choudhury, Advisor of the university presented the welcome speech. Deans, Heads of departments, Senior faculty members were also present in this ceremony.

On this occasion, 339 students received certificates for their outstanding performance in the last semester final examinations. Among them 83 students received A⁺ grade while 256 students received A grade.
