The Textile club of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) celebrated the “ 8^th Anniversary of Department of Textile Engineering” on May 26, 2017 at Panthopath Campus auditorium. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury graced the event as chief guest and Raashid Ashraf Khan, Chief Executive Officer, Silver Composite Textile Mills Ltd. was the guest of honour. Prof. Dr. Engr. Shah Alimuzzaman Belal, advisor of the Department of Textile Engineering, was present as special guest. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Head, Department of Textile Engineering Chaired the session. Controller of Examinations, Heads of departments, Faculty members and students of the department were present in the program. The program ended with cutting Cake and cultural program. ‘Textile Today’ was the Media Partner in this program.
