Department of Textile Engineering, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized a seminar on “Future Trend of Textiles & Apparels and Our Preparation”on September 20, 2017  at WUB Panthopath campus auditorium. Prof. AFM Abdur Rauf, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, WUB was the chief guest. Professor Abdus Salam Molla, Registrar, WUB; Professor A K M Ziaul Islam, Controller of Examinations, WUB and Prof. Dr. Shah Alimuzzaman Belal, C.Text. FTI, Advisor, Department of Textile Engineering, WUB were the special guests. Md. Monowar Hossain (Palash), Country Manager, Asutex was present as the key-note speaker and Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Head,  Department of Textile Engineering, WUB Chaired the session. Faculty members and students of the Textile department were also present in the seminar.

Keynote speaker Mr. Hossain provided an in-depth view of situation coming in near future of Textile Industries in Bangladesh and the steps needed to face the challenges.
