Department of Computer Science and Engineering, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized its ‘6^th WUB National ComTech  Festival-2017’ on November 17, 2017 at the Panthapath Campus auditorium of the University. The festival was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mostafa Jabbar, President, Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS). The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of the University. Mr. Munir Hasan, Coordinator, Youth Programme at Prothom Alo was present as special guest and Prof. Dr. Musfiq M. Choudhury, Chief Advisor (WUB) was present as welcome speaker.

The students from different universities participated in "Robotics contest", “IT Olympiad” and "Project Showcasing". College students participated in "College Science Fair" and "IT Olympiad". The festival also consisted of Gaming contest for gamers and Programming contest for Programmers. Renowned IT experts and specialists took part in various seminars and workshops for promotion of science and technologies. The festival will be rounded up on November 18, 2017 in the evening.
