World university of Bangladesh observed the National Mourning Day on 15 August 2018 at the university main campus. The national flag hoisted at half-mast as the sun rises on that day. On this occasion a discussion meeting held on “Bangabandhu & Bangladesh”. The discussants paid glowing tributes to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due solemnity and honor marking his 43^rd death anniversary.

The event was presided over by Professor A.K.M. Ziul Islam, Controller of Examination. All Deans, Head of Departments, Faculty Members, Administrative Personnel, and staff of World University of Bangladesh were present on this occasion.
