Department of Mechatronics Engineering (MTE), World University of Bangladesh, has organize “MECHATRONICS DAY” on 6 October, 2018 at WUB Panthapath Campus. The program was enriched with project show, Interactive games season, Prize giving ceremony and Cultural program throughout the day.

Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury,  Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, was present as the chief guest .  Dr. M Shafiqul Islam, advisor, department of MTE graced the ceremony as special guest. Controller of  Examinations, Registrar, Proctor, and all Heads of departments were present in the ceremony. Farhan Mahbub, Head of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering presided over the program.

The daylong event included an intra-departmental project show which started at 10:00 am. Department of MTE also organized a week long intra department debate tournament and indoor games tournament among different batches including foosball, carom, ludu, dart competition, etc. The winners were rewarded with attractive prizes.At the prize-giving ceremony, among others, Professor Dr. M shafiqul islam,  advisor, Department of MTE  handed over the prizes to the winners. Finally, the program concluded with a dinner party.
