World University of Bangladesh Computer Club (WUBCC) officially started its journey with lots of dreams and aspirations. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of WUB, Prof. Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury, being the chief guest of the program, announced its opening by launching the website of the club. (Website: www.wubcc.org)*.

Special guests of the Inauguration Ceremony were: Prof. Dr M Nurul Islam, hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Maulana Bhasani Science and Technology University and Advisor of WUB; Luna Shamsuddoha, President, Bangladesh Women in Technology (BWT); Mohammad Kawsar Uddin, President, Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum; Dr Syed Faisal Hasan, President, Internet Society Bangladesh.

The chief guest and the special guests spoke on the occasion and highlighted the fact that the youth of today should increase their t proficiency in computer programming and introduce new innovations. All

the guests wished WUBCC success and gave valuable suggestions.

Moreover, day-long program was set to make the occasion memorable. The various programs were Gaming Contest, Quiz Contest, Computer Fair and Film Show.

Several ICT service providers participated in the Computre Fair to showcase the products and services on that day. Intel Bangladesh was the technology partner of the event and helped the club to arrange the Gaming Contest and Quiz Contest. Students from various departments of the university took part in the gaming contest.
