The smell of the fruits essence of the summer is smearing in the auditorium of World University of Bangladesh. The Cultural Club of WUB has arranged a two - day Fruit Festival with 25 stalls containing different types of fruits are shown and sold. The festival was inaugurated by Mr. Imdadul Haq Milon, novelist and editor, The Daily Kaler Kantho. The festival was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury where welcome speech was given by Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh. The Special Guests at the festival were Prof. Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university and Dr. Musfiq M Choudhury, Secretary Board of Trustees of the university. Mr. Nader Choudhury, Actor and Director, Bangladesh Group Theater Federation; Mr. Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary, Bangladesh Patha Natok Porishod and Khondokar Ismail, distinguish presenter were present as the invited guests.
