The “Best Performance Award” ceremony of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) was held on October 12, 2015 at on auditorium. On this occasion a total of 179 students received certificates for their outstanding performance in the last semester final examinations. Among them 41 received A+ grade and 138 received A grade. It may be mentioned that WUB strictly follows UGC grading system and arranges award giving ceremony after the publication of the results of each semester. Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury graced the occasion as Chief Guest and give away the certificates while Professor Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer; Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Secretary, Board of Trustees, WUB, were present as Special Guests. Professor A K M Ziaul Islam, Controller of Examinations, chaired the session and the deans and chairperson of all faculties and departments were also present. Students were advised to do better in the days to come and be more formal in attending such ceremony.
