The “Best Performance Award” ceremony of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) was held on January 29, 2016 at the auditorium of WUB. The ceremony was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of the University while Prof. Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Member, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC), graced the occasion as chief guest. Professor Dr. M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer were present as special guests. Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Secretary, Board of Trustees, was present as welcome speaker. Deans, Heads of departments, senior faculty members along with parents of students having GPA A+ were also present in this ceremony.

On this occasion, 227 students received certificates for their outstanding performance in the last semester final examinations. Among them 55 students received A+ grade while 172 students received A grade. It may be mentioned that WUB strictly follows UGC grading system and arranges award giving ceremony after publication of the results of each semester.
