A Seminar on “Career Prospects and Opportunities in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry”

Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management organized a seminar on “Career Prospects and Opportunities in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry” on 3^rd March (Tuesday), 2020 in the Auditorium, City Campus, World University of Bangladesh (WUB).

Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh was the chief guest in the seminar.The Guest of Honor in the seminar was Mr. Jabed Ahmed, CEO, Bangladesh Tourism Board, and Additional Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. The seminar started with welcome speech by Dr. Selim Ahmed, Head, World School of Business, World University of Bangladesh.

The distinguished speaker was Mohammad Saiful Hassan, Deputy Director (Planning & Research), Bangladesh Tourism Board.The panel speakers were Mr. Iqbal Kabir Chowdhury Pobon, Chairman; Mr. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, General Manager and Mr. Mahbub Amin Nahiyan, Manager (Sales and Marketing) of The West Park Inn Dhaka Hotel.The seminar was presided over by Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh.

Students and faculty members of World University of Bangladesh attended the seminar.
