World University of Bangladesh (WUB) on Monday 16 January 2023 organized an orientation programme for newly enrolled students for Spring Semester 2023 at its Campus in Uttara, Dhaka. In this first phase Nearly 250 students, who admitted to graduate and undergraduate programmes in 11 different departments this semester, participated in the orientation. 

Professor Zaki Imam. Registrar, World University of Bangladesh delivered welcome speech. He advised the students to utilize the four (04) years of their study in WUB for attaining academic excellence as well as leadership, moral values, responsibility towards family & society. He also appreciated them for choosing WUB for their career partner.  

Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. He welcomed all participants and advised them to work hard to become a responsible citizen to the country.

Mohammed Shaiful Hannan, Senior Deputy Controller of Examinations; Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Senior Deputy Registrar, WUB and others also spoke on the various issues of the university like rules and regulations, academic system, extra co-curricular activities etc. Prof. A F M Abdur Rauf, Dean, Science & Engineering Faculty shared his experience with the students.  

Head of Departments, faculties, and senior officials were also present at the program. A large number of parents and students also attended the orientation program.
