An ‘Innovation and Idea Sharing Seminar on Green Technology’ was held at the WUB Permanent Campus, Uttara, on 16 September 2019 at 11.00 AM. The theme of this seminar, “Green Technology and Innovation”, is focusing on how science and technology play a vital role in fighting against the climate change and global warming. Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Founder & Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) chaired this seminar. Power Electronics & Energy Conversion Research Group, Department Of EEE And Energy Research Group, Department of MTE jointly organized this seminar.

Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury said “I am very pleased to see the students of World University of Bangladesh are engaged with research work, and I hope to see more in future. They came up with ideas that are very interesting and might help Bangladesh to fight against climate change since Bangladesh is more prone to global warming and climate change than many other countries in the world.”

Participants shared their experiences, talked about past and present projects, and generated future ideas to prevent climate change and global warming. Faculties and students of WUB were also present in this seminar.
