On Thursday, 27th February 2025, 110 enthusiastic students and faculty members of the Department of Textile Engineering and Fashion Design, World University of Bangladesh embarked on a delightful day trip to Shaira Garden Hotel & Resorts, Madanpur, Narayanganj. The group set off from the campus early in the morning, with excitement in the air as they began their journey. The day kicked off with a hearty breakfast, ensuring everyone had the energy to make the most of the day’s activities. The students enjoyed a refreshing swim at the resort’s pool, enjoying the beautiful weather. Following the swim, a well-balanced lunch was served, offering an array of delicious dishes. The afternoon was fun and exciting as the students and teachers participated in various sports and games that fostered team spirit and friendly competition. The day also featured a lively cultural program where students showcased their talents through music, dance, and other performances, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all attendees. The event culminated in a grand prize-giving ceremony, where winners of the sports and cultural events were recognized for their outstanding efforts. Additionally, a raffle draw added an element of surprise, as several lucky attendees walked away with special prizes. The students and faculty returned safely, cherishing the moments spent together.
