Clemon Uni Campus Cricket 2025 Concludes at World University of Bangladesh

The vibrant campus of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) was energized over two thrilling days with the successful hosting of the ‘Clemon Uni Campus Cricket 2025’, held from May 20 to 21, 2025. This inter-departmental cricket tournament saw spirited participation from all academic departments of WUB, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a celebration of sportsmanship and unity.

After intense and exciting matches, the Civil Engineering Department emerged as the champion, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the tournament. The Mechanical Engineering Department claimed the runner-up position, putting up a strong performance in the final match.

The tournament concluded with a grand prize-giving ceremony, which was graced by Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar of WUB, along with Professor M. Moqbul Hossain, Controller of Examinations; Md. Kamrul Hossain, Joint Registrar; Ahsan Thouhid Milton, Joint Registrar; Maruf Ahmed, Deputy Registrar; Deans, Head of Departments, and senior faculty members. Professor Zaki Imam congratulated the participants and winners, and emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in fostering leadership, discipline, and camaraderie among students.

The event was sponsored by Clemon Sports, a concern of the Akij Group, whose continued support of campus sports initiatives was highly appreciated.
