Voluntary Blood Donation Program

World University of Bangladesh (WUB), in collaboration with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, organized a day-long “Voluntary Blood Donation Program” on Friday, 19 September 2025, at the WUB campus.

The event was inaugurated and attended by Prof. Zaki Imam, Registrar; Mr. Kamrul Hossain and Mr. Ahsan Touhid Milton, Joint Registrars; faculty members; and officials of the university. Representatives from the Red Crescent Blood Center, along with students of the World University of Bangladesh associated with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, were also present at the program.

Throughout the day, students from various departments of WUB actively participated in donating blood, demonstrating their humanitarian spirit and social responsibility. The initiative not only encouraged students to contribute to saving lives but also raised awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Students who took part in the campaign expressed their excitement and gratitude, appreciating such a noble initiative being hosted on their campus.

The program reflected the commitment of the World University of Bangladesh to promoting community service and social welfare activities among its students.
