WUB Hosts Workshop on “Building a Successful Career with the Power of AI Tools”

The Career Counseling Center of the World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organized an insightful workshop titled “Building a Successful Career with the Power of AI Tools” on October 18, 2025, at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium. The session aimed to equip students with practical knowledge about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing influence on modern career development and professional success.

Students from various departments actively participated in the program, gaining valuable insights into how AI is transforming industries and reshaping the global job market. The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including an introduction to AI tools and their impact across different sectors, strategies to enhance individual skills and employability through AI integration, and live demonstrations showcasing the practical use of AI applications in career planning and personal growth.

Mr. Afzal Hossain, Adjunct Faculty, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, served as the keynote speaker of the session. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of embracing AI-driven tools to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving digital world.

The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the World University of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest, along with Deans and faculty members from various departments. Professor Dr. Islam appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to adapt to emerging technologies to strengthen their future career prospects.

The interactive session inspired students to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence and its role in shaping the future of work. Through such initiatives, WUB continues to uphold its mission of preparing students to become skilled, adaptable, and forward-thinking professionals capable of thriving in the era of technological innovation.
