World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is delighted to announce that its researchers have been awarded a prestigious Special Research Grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, for the fiscal year 2025–2026. This significant achievement highlights the university’s growing prominence in scientific research and innovation at the national level.
The grant has been secured by Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Mohammad Bellal Hoque from the Department of Textile Engineering, along with Prof. Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, and Sarder Arifuzzaman, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy. Their collaborative research initiative has been recognized by the government for its potential impact in advancing sustainable and innovative technologies in Bangladesh.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time of the research excellence of Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Mohammad Bellal Hoque has been acknowledged. The same research team was also awarded a research grant from MOST for the fiscal year 2024–2025, demonstrating their continued dedication to scientific advancement and their significant contribution to national development.
