The WUB
Robotics Club successfully organized the WUBRC Robo Mind
Challenge 2026, a two-day live robotics quiz competition, on 9–10 June 2026 at the World
University of Bangladesh (WUB) campus. The event brought together students from
different engineering disciplines to demonstrate their knowledge of robotics,
analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
The
competition was held under the supervision of the club’s Faculty Advisor, Ms. Rumana Tasnim, along with
members of the Advisory Board, who served as judges throughout the event.
Among the
distinguished guests present were Mr. Ahsam Touhid
Milton, Joint Registrar of the World University of Bangladesh; Mr. Farhan Mahbub, Head of
the Department of Mechatronics Engineering; and Professor Dr. Mir Mohammad Azad, Head of the Department
of Computer Science & Engineering.

Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, and Computer Science
& Engineering participated enthusiastically in the
competition, making the event both intellectually stimulating and highly
competitive.
Following
several challenging rounds, the winners were awarded trophies, certificates,
and prizes. MechaStorm
emerged as the Champion, while Mindforge
secured the position of 1st Runner-up and Megatron finished as the 2nd Runner-up.
Speaking on
the occasion, the organizers expressed their appreciation to all participants
for their enthusiasm and competitive spirit. They noted that such initiatives
play a significant role in promoting innovation, technical knowledge, and
collaboration among students.
The WUB Robotics Club plans to continue organizing robotics
competitions, workshops, and innovation-focused programs to encourage students
to develop practical skills and contribute to the advancement of robotics and
emerging technologies.
