Department of
Architecture, World University of Bangladesh is going to organize a live
Facebook telecast on “Towards a Sustainable city & Community: Sharing the
experience of Architects in Reconstruction of Fire Resilient Informal
Settlement, Dhaka” on 14 August, 2021 (Sat day) from 8.00 PM to 9.00
PM. Dr. Afroza Ahmed who has been working as Architect, Shelter
Specialist, Land Use Planning Expert, WASH Specialist, Urban Infrastructure
Development Specialist for UNICEF and other reputed international organizations
as well as Associate Professor, Department of Architecture (SUB), Sadia
Subrina, PhD student (QUT, Australia) and Assistant Professor, Department of
Architecture (MIST), Shafinaz Sameen, Assistant Professor, Department of
Architecture (SUB) will contribute as Speakers in the webinar. Ar. Zenat Islam,
Acting Head, Department of Architecture, World University of
Bangladesh will moderate the session.
