WUB Photography Contest 2016

This is to inform that the WUB Photography & Media Club (WUBPMC) is going to arrange a WUB Photography Contest 2016. This contest is open for all the students of WUB. All entries must be submitted online according to the Rules of the Contest to this email: wubpmc@wub.edu.bd from January 1, 2016 through January 30, 2016. Any photograph submitted after January 30, 2016 will be automatically disqualified. There will be an exhibition of selected photographs at WUB Auditorium and the best contestants will be awarded.

Rules of the WUB Photography Contest:

1. Theme: Amar Bangla
2. Category: Lifestyle of different people in Bangladesh, Current events/festivals of  Bangladesh (e.g. Representation of Freedom/Victory day), Natural Beauty of Bangladesh, Portrait, Architectural Beauty of Bangladesh, Landscape of Bangladesh etc. (Note: Any photograph that represents Bangladesh in a creative and artistic way will be positively judged).
3. Photographs may be taken by DSLR or Digital Camera or Smartphone or Tab.
4. Photographs must be in digital jpeg format and the maximum size of a photograph  may be 6 MB. An individual student may submit maximum of 3 photographs for this contest.
5. Each photograph must be named in this format: Photograph number_Your Name_Department_Batch No. _ Roll No. e.g. if your name is Rayhan Uddin; then for photopgraph1 name may be as the following:

7. Photography ethics must be followed for this contest. e.g. the photograph must be original work of the contestant. It must not be the work anyone else. Excessive Editing is NOT Allowed.
8. Each student is required to send another file in MS-Word format with the basic information of the contestant (Contestant’s name, Mobile number, Program, Batch No., Roll No.), theme and caption of the photograph according to the photograph number, technical details of the photograph if available (e.g. focal length, aperture, shutter speed, ISO sensitivity; Camera Name etc.).
9. Photographs must be submitted only through this email: wubpmc@wub.edu.bd. Only online entries through this email will be eligible for the contest.
