The Cultural Club of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) has arranged a two day ‘Pitha Festival’ on 2^nd and 3^rd February, 2017 at WUB Auditorium.  Quite a good number of  pithas of different types in different sizes, color  and flavor were displayed and sold in   25 stalls in this festival. The festival was inaugurated by Syed Hasan Imam Actor, Film Director, Television Director and Recipient of Ekushey Padak Award. The event was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury while Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of WUB was present as special guest. Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer of the University was present as welcome speaker. Among the invited guests were Deans; Controller of Examinations; Registrar; Proctor; Heads of the Departments Faculties and students  of all the departments were present on the occasion. The festival will be rounded up on 3^rd February 2017.
