The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the World University of Bangladesh organized the “Girls in ICT Day-2019” on the 25th April 2019 at the auditorium of the University (Panthapath campus). This is in line with the ITU’s event this year, The main theme of this event was to identify the reasons imparting women in entering the ICT industry. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, the honorable Vice- Chancellor of the university. The session included a talk on future careers in ICT amongst female students from neighbouring schools and colleges. Around 37 pupils came into this event. They have had pre-developed projects which they shared with the academics of the University.
