A webinar session titled "91st Birth Anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib" was organized jointly by World University of Bangladesh and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Parishad on August 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The webinar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh and President of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Parishad; and was attended by Alhaj Amir Hossain Amu MP, Member of the Advisory Council, Bangladesh Awami League; Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun, Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Bar Council, Member of Advisory Council, Bangladesh Awami League and Advisory Council, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Parishad; Sheikh Shahidul Islam, Former Minister, General Secretary, Jatiya Party-JP; Abdus Salam Mridha, General Secretary, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Parishad; Advocate Balaram Poddar, Awami League leader; And Advocate Afzal Hossain, Organizing Secretary, Bangladesh Awami League.

The keynote paper, in the session was presented by Prof. Abdul Mannan Choudhury. All the discussant highlighted the role of Fazilatunnesa Mujib in Bangabandhu's life and achievement including the achievement of independence of Bangladesh. The panelist also elaborated the justification of the title of Bangamata & introduction of `A’ class award in the name of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib but urged the authority to keep the award both to male and female because Bangamata is Bangamata to all Bengalees living in Bangladesh. They urged the unscrupulous elements to refrain from uses Bangamata’s name for their personal betterment.
