World University of Bangladesh Tourism and Hospitality Management Club (WUBTHM) had conducted a webinar on “Health Care During Covid-19” on 8^th August, 2021 at 8:00 P.M. to uplift awareness among people regarding how they may care for themselves as well as their family members during this pandemic situation. It was broadcasted from the official Facebook page of the University.

Dr. Selim Ahmed, Head, World School of Business, World University of Bangladesh attended the  webinar as the special guest and Dr. Ashequr Rahman, Training Manager, Augmedix Bangladesh, Scribe Trainer, Motivational Speaker, Physician and Health Coach was the  Keynote Speaker. The program was chaired by Shahnawaz Kamal, Lecturer and WUBTHM Club Moderator.

The webinar began with a welcome speech of the chair and followed by a valuable speech from the special guest Dr. Selim ahmed where he shed light on the current situation and the importance of today’s webinar.

The keynote speaker of the webinar Mr. Dr. Ashequr Rahman elaborately discussed several issues related to what are the signs that someone is affected by covid-19 virus, how this virus spreads rapidly and remedies and actions to be taken while affected by the virus. He discussed all the issues using factual statistics and real-life examples. He also emphasized on the necessity to get vaccinated and also suggested sources of food and types of exercise that will help to prepare our body to fight against the Covid-19 virus.
