Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, MP, Honorable Speaker of Bangladesh National Parliament, as the chief guest, inaugurated the permanent campus of World University of Bangladesh at sector-17/H, Uttara, Dhaka on 06 march, 2019 by releasing balloons and pigeons around 12:30 pm.

Mr. Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, MP, Honorable Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education, Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Md. Sohorab Hossain, Senior Secretary, Secondary & Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education; Professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Chairman, Bangladesh Accreditation Council; Sheikh Kabir Hossain, President, Association of Private Universities, Bangladesh; Professor Dr. Pran Gopal Datta, Former Vice Chancellor, BSMMU; Mr. Aktaruzzaman, Chairman, Gazipur Zilla Parishad; Prof. Dr. M. Nurul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh; were present as special guests.

Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer, World University of Bangladesh delivered the welcome speech. Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Founder and Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh presided over the inaugural ceremony while Professor Dr. Musfiq Mannan Choudhury, Chairman (Acting), Board of Trustees, WUB delivered the Vote of Thanks.
