Urban Design Jury

The First Urban Design Jury of the Architecture Department, World University of Bangladesh was held on 14^th June, 2023. Students worked on two different sites of Dhaka city; Pallabi lakeside area and Balur math, Mirpur. In the first stage of this design process they made a survey and analysis about the urban issues and finally proposed some design solutions and policies to regenerate the both site with urban facilities.   

Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Honorable Vice Chancellor, World University of Bangladesh; Prof. A F M Abdur Rauf, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering; Zenat Islam, Head, Department of Architecture and the design support teacher Architect AKM Ashrafuz Zaman, Assistant Architect at Department of Architecture, Ministry of Housing & Public Works Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh attended the jury and praised the good effort of the students.
